Biography
Winner of Littlesouth DJ of the Year 2009, also winner of Paranoid DJ Comp _ The Crobar Club Swansea Wales (April 2005) & Runner up IDJ Magazine readers mixes comp July 2004.Ryan R a DJ with passion, ability and with a unique sound incorporating House, Funk, Tech, Electro music, your guaranteed an energy filled set when at your club.The Beggining:Ryan donned his first set of decks back in 1998, where he started playing HardHouse & Techno, and started playing the local circuit, warming up for such artists as; BK,Nick Sentience, Uberdurck, Madam Zu. After a years break in 2003, Ryan came back to the UK, inspired & found his real love in all things Funky. With fresh inspiration Ryan went on to start his own & co promote Liquid Funk & So...Funky, laying down his own take on House music, fusing Funky House & Electro. Whilst later in that year (2004) he came runner up in IDJ (International DJ Magazine) readers mixes section, and from that he got signed to Flaunt DJs Angency in London for a year, and went on to have bookings throughout the UK.In 2005 Ryan went onto win the Paranoid DJ comp _ the Crobar club Swansea, where he battled it out against six finalists on the night, to win a resdiency, and since has gone on to play and have resdiencies at several bars & clubs throughout the South-West.The Present:2009/2010 was the biggest for Ryan so far, being resident for hedkandi nights _ Newquay superclub Pure, whilst being resident for local Cornish night DeluxX & Jack U, whilst being booked to play at pretty much every top club Cornwall has to offer & many festivals. Also with a weekly radio show to boot on wtchouseradio.com playing the finest in House music. 2010 started off unbelievably for Ryan being named Littlesouth.com DJ of the year 2009. 2011 is promosing to be another unbelievable year, book early to avoid dissapointment
